I´m a proud owner of Bee S/N 268, no 4 in a row from 1947 and probably this plane started my flying carrier a long time ago. My parents give me a ticket for a ride in the begining of -50´s. I´m an ex Swedish Marine helicopter-pilot flying CH 46, nowadays Sim-flight instructor at Arlanda airport outside Stockholm. Also acting as sea-rating Exam. and Seaplane instructor inside EU.
Kindly regards
Ulf Engstroem

Peter says his Seabee is made from parts of S/N 232, 413, 75, 766. No wonder we have trouble keeping track of Bees! Looks like Pete still has a way to go. Keep us posted.

Roland (from Sweden) just finished the restoration of his Seabee! Looks like most of the time was spent polishing aluminum. Looks great!

I have just acquired a seabee project from my uncle, Harold Platt. It is N6115A S/N 912 with a GO-480. I flew the plane across country for him about 10 years ago. It has been in a hanger in pieces and I plan to get it into the air again as soon as I can find a local mechanic. Do you have any suggestions for the N Georgia area?

How do I join the group?

Here is a picture taken around 2000 on my grass strip (33GA) showing off its "Killer Whale" paint job. The plane came out of Canada and was formerly registered as C-FDKI.
